Remember the lyrics to this popular nursery rhyme?: “All around the mulberry bush…”: Well, now you can hum this popular tune while you pick delicious mulberries from your own Everbearing Mulberry Tree.

You may not see mulberries in your local grocery store, but if you enjoy blackberries, you’re sure to love the delicious taste of mulberries (and they are even juicer than traditional blackberries!). Unlike other fruit trees that bear fruit once, a year The Everbearing Mulberry Tree produces sweet fruit from June to August which means you can harvest berries for you and your family, all summer long.

When you plant your tree in full sun, you’ll get an abundant amount of berries within its first year! But the Everbearing Mulberry has more to offer than just its fruit. It also functions as a stately ornamental tree. Reaching heights up to 15 feet and widths of 10 feet, the Everbearing Mulberry is a great addition to any landscape and provides a reprieve from the hot sun with cool shade from its large, heart-shaped leaves.

This low-maintenance, drought-resistant tree is able to tolerate high winds, extreme heat, poor soil, and pollution, making it suitable for a variety of climates. It will begin to show gorgeous blooms in May right before its first blooms. When your mulberries are ready to harvest, you can pick and eat them fresh off the branch or savor them year-round by making jams, jellies, and other sweet persevered treats.

If you want an easy-maintenance, beautiful, fruit-bearing tree look no further than the Everbearing Mulberry Tree. Relax under ornamental shade and reap the benefits of its tasty, abundant berries. Don’t wait any longer to grab your Everbearing Mulberry Tree today!

Everbearing Mulberry Tree Care

Planting

Choose a location where your tree will receive full or partial sunlight and plant in well-draining soil.

Remove your tree from its container and place it into a hole that is three times as wide as the root ball and equal in depth ensuring the tree is upright and the top of the root ball is even with the ground. Begin backfilling the hole with existing soil, tamping down lightly as you fill. Immediately water the area to settle the soil and help to eliminate air pockets.

Mulch around the base of the tree to conserve soil moisture and prevent weeds/grass from growing.

Watering

Water your tree weekly while it's first being established. Then, once it’s established, your normal rainfall will be enough unless you're experiencing extreme drought or heat, then water again once weekly.

Fertilizing

Apply any type of organic fertilizer or slow-release fertilizer in spring before it begins to bloom.

Maintenance

Remove any dead or broken branches in the spring.
