The Variegated Boxwood is a boxwood with an exciting twist! The evergreen shrub adds vibrant color to your landscape with only minimal maintenance!

Dark green with borders of light yellow to cream the leaves of this hardy shrub stand out in the landscape. This foliage is dense and will easily conceal anything you don't want to see. With a mature height and width around 5 feet the Variegated Boxwood is great for small and large yards alike. This compact shrub is deer, rabbit, and pollution tolerant as well as pest and disease resistant. Even the novice gardener will look like a pro with this easy to grow boxwood.

The Variegated Boxwood grows in full sun to part shade. It adapts well to a variety of well-draining soils. Once established this boxwood is drought tolerant. However, Boxwoods will perform best when watered once weekly during dry periods, including in winter. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow release fertilizer like the one we carry to give your boxwood a boost. Pruning can be done anytime of the year. However, it is best to avoid pruning in late fall as pruning will stimulate new growth that will be too tender to survive the freezing, winter temperatures.

Each plant we package and ship will carefully be inspected to make sure that you receive the highest quality plant possible, free from insect infestations and disease. All of our plants are living and healthy at time of shipping.

There are many factors that affect a plant. Weather, soil conditions, watering conditions, animal and pest damage, etc. Since we are shipping live plants, timing is critical. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 - 3 days from checkout.

On occasion a plant order can take up to 5 days for processing. We plan each shipment to avoid your plants sitting in a truck over the weekend if possible. This means orders may be held until the following monday to ensure the shortest ship time. This delay will guarantee that your plants arrive the highest quality possible. Plants that specify shipping at different seasons will be shipped when they become available. ex. ships fall

Variegated Boxwood

Was happy to find variegated boxwood at a reasonable price. They were nice size plants and all are healthy. I bought a lot of them to put in front of a building at church. Right now they are a bit small, but in a few years they will look spectacular. So far I have nothing but favorable commits.

So far so good

They arrived in great condition. I've had them in the ground for about 3 weeks. They seem to be doing well. I'm looking forward to a year or so down the road once they grow a little taller.

Variegated Boxwood

All is well. I had one of the baskets that had the soil dumped out into the box, but that was not a serious problem. We planted them, and we will wait and see how they will do. Thanks, Charlie Runnels

Little Under the Weather

I have tried to find the boxwood in my area. A dwarf was preferred. When on the phone with their representative she called it a dwarf a few times but not in the heading on the website. The dimensions on their website were not the dimensions of a drawf. Not sure if dwarf or not. Came packed as promised and watered well. Only small comment is the leaves arrived a little brown. Hope when they are planted they will perk up.
