Silver King Euonymus Care
Plant your Silver King Euonymus in full sun to part shade.  These hardy shrubs are adaptable to just about any soil that is able to drain.  After planting be sure to water deeply 1-2 times per week in order for this Euonymus' roots to grow properly.  Once established this shrub is fairly drought tolerant.  Watering is generally only needed in periods of extreme drought. Applying 2-3 inches of mulch will help protect the roots in extreme temperatures and keep the soil moist.  There is no need to prune this shrub.  However, if you prefer a manicured look, prune any time of the year.  Fertilize with our balanced, slow release fertilizer in spring.  The Silver King Spindle tree is salt, pollution, and heat tolerant.
