The Rose Glow Barberry is a very versatile shrub. It is a great shrub for beginner gardeners and can be used in a wide variety of ways to meet you landscaping needs. This beautiful shrub has astounding, red colored foliage. When new shoots start to form, the colors vary from spotted red to pink blotched foliage. The showy, variegated leaves change from purple to pink, making this shrub have a “glowing” effect.

The early spring brings little yellow flowers in clusters. Once the summer suns have passed the cool fall weather brings a vibrant red color to the foliage. Although, the Barberry loses it leaves in the winter, it does continue to bring showy interest with long oval shaped red seed pods that stay intact throughout the entire winter.

The Rose Glow Barberry has a lot to offer when it comes to your landscaping needs. It is great to be used as a foundation plant, borders, clusters, or even solitary. At full maturity this shrub can reach 4-5 feet high and wide. The Rose Glow barberry prefers full sun, but will tolerate partial shade as well as drought conditions.

The sun brings this bush its red tones, so if planted in the shade it will lose color and will remain green with patches of red and pink accents. This plant is very adaptable to all soil types and retains its color all summer long.

The Rose Glow Barberry is a versatile plant that can adapt to most conditions. The colors displayed all year round make this plant pleasing to the eye during all seasons. The Rose Glow an extremely popular plant across the US and beyond!
