Golden Euonymus grows in full to part sun. These hardy shrubs are adaptable to any soil that drains well. After planting be sure to water deeply 1-2 times per week in order for this euonymus' roots to grow properly. Once established this shrub is drought tolerant. Watering is generally only needed in periods of extreme drought. Applying 2-3 inches of mulch will help protect the roots in extreme temperatures and keep the soil moist. There is no need to prune this shrub. If you prefer a manicured look, prune any time of the year. Fertilize with a balanced, slow release fertilizer in spring. If your soil is poor, fertilize in fall as well. The Golden Euonymus is disease and pest resistant.

The plants look great and looked very healthy. The plants were also larger than we expected, but that was a good thing. We will have them in the ground by June 27 and we will go from there. Thank you , Charles Runnels

Deer Resistant Plant

Nice plant for year round color. We selected this type since we have dogs and could not use other deer-resistant plants due to berries. So far, the two tone colors look very nice against darker green lawn and black mulch.
