Shipping & Delivery
Each plant we package and ship will carefully be inspected to make sure that you receive the highest quality plant possible, free from insect infestations and disease. All of our plants are living and healthy at time of shipping. There are many factors that affect a plant. Weather, soil conditions, watering conditions, animal and pest damage, etc. Since we are shipping live plants, timing is critical. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 - 3 days from checkout.  On occasion an order can take up to 5 days for processing. We plan each shipment to avoid your plants sitting in a truck over the weekend if possible.  This means orders may be held until the following monday to ensure the shortest ship time. This delay will guarantee that your plants arrive the highest quality possible. Plants that specify shipping at different seasons will be shipped when they become available. ex. ships fall

You may also receive multiple shipments for your order. Plants will be packaged in multiple boxes depending on the quantity of your order. After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. When your shipment arrives, carefully inspect packaging to make sure their is no damage. Open your package immediately and water your plants thoroughly. Watering your plants on arrival is the most critical step to ensuring success for your new plants.
Privacy & Security
Personal information is collected and used only to process and ship your order. We do not sell or use confidential information in any other way. We alre also PCI Compliant. Credit card numbers are locked after entered into the system. We only can view the last 4 digits after processing a transaction.
Refund & Replacement Policy
We ship living products from ThePlantingTree.com; all sales are final. In the event a living product is rejected on delivery we will not credit back your account.There will be no refunds.  If your package arrives damaged, please take pictures of the damaged packaging, your plants, and send to support@theplantingtree.com. Your claim must be received within 4 days of receiving your package. We will reship the damaged plant after receiving your claim. If the product we are replacing is out of stock, we will place a credit onto your account to order a substitute or we will refund your order for the product that is damaged. 
Any hardgoods that are not living must be returned within 10 business days with a 10% restocking fee.  You will be responsible for any shipping costs to send the product back to our warehouse. Once hardgoods are returned and are resaleable, you will receive a refund.
Our Basic Warranty

We guarantee that your plants will arrive healthy.  All of our plants and trees are inspected for health and quality before we ship them out.  If your item arrives damaged or unhealthy please submit a photo to us right away.  We will replace your plant if it dies within 5 days of delivery and you contact us and provide a photo within that timeframe.  

If your plant is dormant at the time of delivery, we will replace this item if it does not emerge from dormancy by June 1st.  Please submit a photo to support@theplantingtree.com in order to receive a replacement.

Purchased Warranty

If you have purchased our 1-year warranty at time of checkout and carefully followed our planting and care directions after receiving your plant(s), and need to turn in a claim, please send us an email at support@theplantingtree.com. In the subject line please specify your order number and also attach pictures of your plant. The Planting Tree will replace your plant one time for a period of one year after the delivery date. The Planting Tree will replace your plant not including the shipping fees. Claims submitted after the one year warranty period will not be honored. Shipping address of claim must be the same as original shipping address. Our 1-year warranty will only cover plants planted in suitable growing zones. Once a claim is submitted, we will check your growing zone based on your shipping address for the plant that has perished. Except for indoor plants, warranty will be void if the plant purchased is not suitable for your growing zone.
Order Cancellation
If you would like to cancel an order it must be done within 1 hour of placing your order. We pick, pack, and ship as quickly as possible. Once your order has gone to shipping it cannot be canceled. To cancel an order, please call us at 1-855-541-7526 or email support@theplantingtree.com.

After your order and been processed, you will received an email with the details of your order. You can also log into your my account section for more details about your order.
Updating Account Information
Updating your account information can be done 2 different ways. 1. You can log into your my account page and update your account information(recommended)2. Send us an email at support@ThePlantingTree.com.
Plant Sizes and Pictures
The Pictures on our website for each plant are mostly mature pictures.  It demonstrates what the plant will look like as it matures.  What you will receive is the size of the plant that is listed on the product page.This size, shape, flower color, etc. may differ from the actual picture on the website.  We do guarantee that you will receive the specified size (1 gallon, 3 gallon, 1-2 Feet, etc.) that you choose when ordering your plants.
